SP-Moospads are our latest product with the motto, it’s always easier. First of all, you have your pad tray, which you can cover freely with almost any mosses and small ferns. Then close the lid and the moss pad is ready. Now you have to decide whether you want to place it in the aquarium like a screen or hang it on the glass. No problem, the moss pads are compatible and can be placed either standing or hanging. If you change your mind over time, this is not a problem and you only have to change the holders. The moss pads are currently available in M (5X5cm), XL (10X10cm) and half-round (8X5cm). There are no limits to the imagination here and there will be other shapes in the future.the moss pads are made from a matt black PLA and are also perfect for settling the biofilm. Beginners love moss in the aquarium and it is essential for keeping shrimps. However, many people fail to glue and tie it on. Often the thread is not taut enough or so much glue is used that the moss is completely covered and dies. Our moss pads don’t need any of this, depending on how you turn the lid, one side has 1 mm of air for fine mosses and the other side has 2 mm for coarser mosses and small ferns. All the aquarist has to do is place the moss in the tray, close it and that’s it. why disc holders and not suction cups? quite simply, suction cups are wearing parts and we want to spare our customers that. The holders last almost forever and do not have to be replaced like suction cups because they harden over time. The pack contains 8 connectors, which is enough to connect up to five moss pads together.
